For all the latest up-to-date info on living and working in Spain, I would recommend that you join the Citizens Advice Spain's Facebook group and check out their website too.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/citizensadvicespain

Here's a recent article on the subject of living and working in Spain.

https://www.citizensadvice.org.es/uk-nationals-who-wish-to-work-in-spain/

I’m hoping that if I apply for my Southern Ireland passport that should make it easier to move to Spain , but again I’ve got so many baby steps before I completely commit, im hoping to rent for six months , and just keep gathering as much information as I can I would really like to be there to support my aunt . I wrote to some companies I worked for because they have business in Spain to see if I can get transferred to work in Spain for them .

Where is Southern Ireland? If you're applying for an Irish passport you could at least get the name of you're future nationality correct. The system is overloaded since Brexit.

Worth checking that your aunt understands all the rules. Thanks to a minority of British voters it is no longer possible to just turn up. Re your own situation don’t forget you will need private health insurance with an approved policy, a police check, and a certificate from your doctor stating...

... that you are healthy. As a visitor you would  be able to spend a maximum of 90 days in 180 in Spain.

For goodness sake, why don't you accept the democratic decision made in Britain by British residents to leave the EU? You live in Spain, get on with it!

Yeah I  just passed my medical with my bus company, i can get medical insurance no problem, I also have private health care insurance, and through my bank I get holiday insurance  for up to one year in Spain. My account here will help me should I want to think about opening a business in Spain , and my bank manger will help in I want to move some of my accounts to Spain , it is a long process till I make the decision to be there full time , or just be with my aunt till she’s settled in , also keeping an eye on the housing market at this time, it just nice to get a bit of sun ,my aunts moving full time but I might just buy a house for her boys to use a holiday home beside her , again thank you for any information it all helps , feeling good ,managed to learn all my colours, and fruits so far in Spanish now it’s coming along lol

If the overall vote was for Brexit, how can it be a "minority" of British voters ?

I think you need to start with your aunt and if she has enough money to deposit in a Spanish Bank account in order to qualify for residency. Also don't confuse "residency" with becoming a Spanish National as they are two different situations. Is your aunt on UK State Pension as she may qualify to sign onto the Spanish health system. YOU will need Spanish health insurance to become a resident. At the moment 90 days is the most you can stay in Spain in one stretch and a total of 180 days in a year. You cannot just pop over the border for (say) 2 days to get around this gap.

For those who still don't understand.. Total population 65m..ish. Brexit voters 17m. That's a minority of voters.

So what makes you think that those who couldn't be bothered to vote were "remainers". The MAJORITY of votes placed were for Brexit. Is that easier for you to understand ? Anyway, I am not going to get into a Brexit discussion with you. Brexit won so get used to it and stop trying to make excuses and live with it.

There are 53,930,490 people over age 18 in United Kingdom, not 65m...ish

Possibly for the thousands of Britons who were denied a vote in the referendum that was to affect them more than anyone else? Project Fear has become Project Reality! So Brexit voters won? Wow... and what a prize they ended up with!
