Legal taxis are safer and carry full hire and reward indurance non licensed equals no insurance even if you save 10€

You are risking your life for 10€ ???

What do you do ..when the legal Taxi's won't come to pick you up on Camposol..personally I think you don't have a choice other than to use Tony down the pub.

That's a problem you obviously have living on Camposol, but there is no excuse for using illegal 'taxis' and feeding the black economy. When you live in a foreign country you should respect the law of that country, and if transport, or the lack of it is a problem, maybe you're living in the wrong place.

I know an illegal driver was fined 2000€ at Alicante earlier this year. Fines and money are one thing, your safety and life is another, is it worth it?

We are left with no option on Camposol..other than to run our own black market Taxi Service/Bus service due to the fact that the Local council will not issue a Licence to anyone other than a Spanish Taxi or Bus company ...when was the last time you seen a council registerd Bus or Taxi on Camposol...

There's a bus every day outside the pharmacy. Times posted outside

It would seem to in theory save a few euros people are prepared to risk their lives and their families life instead of using a licensed taxi looking at the post what is the problem with Spanish drivers ??

They have insurance and reliable vehicles regularly checked

What good is insurance if your dead as you said "risking your life" doesn't matter if cab is insured or not

I think it comes from Totana and goes to Mazarron and then to the port.

I agree with you  my friend, perhaps he wants you to pitch a tent outside the pharmacy In section A and prey that one day a bus will come to take you to section D  . These Local Taxi drivers are a godsend, long may they continue, and I save more then a few euros.

I once telephoned for a taxi , it took 1.5 hrs to get to me ,to take me 4 miles whichcost me 70 euros, yes a registered taxi with insurance ????? he had to come from Porto de MAZARRON .......lesson learned.

I am with you my friend.
