We took our dog walkies yesterday and after 5mins a police vehicle showed up and insisted we went back home to quote "in 1 minute"

This was in the Roda golf complex!

anyone know if we CAN take our whippett for walkies without ending up in jail?/

Interesting, conflicting information coming from the 'experts'!

Read on Murcia Today that the "walkies" is only meant to be a toilet break. Unfortunately cannot now find the article.

I didn't see the Murcia Today article, but I saw the government tweeted the rules around dog walking. Only short walks to cover physiological needs, avoid peak/popular walking times, no contact with other animals or humans and you're required to carry a bottle of water with detergent in to wash away urine and to clean your doggy bags after poop scooping.

That's fine, quarantine or lockdown. I'm used to it now as I watch Sky News.      I'm hiring my dog out for walks, €20 for 20 min fresh air?!  PM me for a drop off point!

€15 for 30min? Delivered? Have you got third party insurance as well in case the dog decide to assault me?

Worth to try..

Hahaaa Dangerous, you couldn't get liability insurance on my pooch. I'd have to borrow somebody else's dog for you mate!!    I guess it will be easier to track repeat street foulers over next few weeks??

All you people have to do is contact Noah's Arc and you will be given a dog entirely free of charge.  - you can then walk it's legs off if you wish! - Just remember , a dog is for life - not to be returned after the emergency is over! L.O.L.

Christine,  not as barmy an idea as you may think!  In UK, some dog and cat rescue centres are encouraging pet fostering during this emergency, as a lot of the centres are experiencing cash flow and voluntary staffing level problems.   It has it's pro's and con's like anything,  ie; only short term solution as dogs will be returned if foster family go back to work, unless they grow close to the pet.  Great idea  though in general I think if no alternatives available?? What you think?

I'm a cat person Zacdog - I'm going to Kiwoko to get my two leads for their collars soon! ( When Consum runs out of food, due to rich  git English stripping the shelves).  Then I will be considered really barmy!

I had been thinking the same thing for my cats. I watch my neighbours taking their dog out with envy now. BTW I’m English but I’m not rich and my son has still been unable to get toilet rolls!
