PCR Tests to fly to UK ? - Page 4

Hi, I am currently in the UK and flying out to Spain in two weeks.

As it currently stands, you have to have a PCR test booked before completing your passenger locator form to take on or before day 2 of your arrival in UK. The difference this time however is that you are to self isolate until you receive your result. Therefore the sooner you do your test and send it off the sooner you will receive your result.

Under the new rules ..Anyone returning/entering the Uk must pre book a PCR test..(code to be insterted onto PLF) and quarantine untill you get a negative test result...hope this helps eveyone.

You need to have the PCR test done on day 2 after your arrival. My understanding is that you don’t need a PCR here prior to your departure to the U

The stupidity of all this is demonstrated by them insisting on quaranting until a negative result comes through, yet one has to go out to return the test! Not everyone has a car, so it could mean taking a bus or two to drop it off, then repeating this to return home, exposing any number of people to whatever one has got!...

You’re right.    I have just arrived in Bristol.  The Woman at check in Alicante checked my passport and locator form and gave me a small bit of paper.  After that nobody checked anything    I only went over to close my Bank account over there.  Think I’m done with Spain now. More hassle than it’s worth these days it’s all these loops to jump through ???
