Hassle trying to fill in the Spanish health form - Page 2

Do you only need the Spanish health form if you are coming by ferry ?

We are driving from Calais (euro tunnel).

Sorry to hear about your problem.

I had no problem using my 'sky.com' account.

This form is for entering Spain so I presume you would need to. We had to show it at Portsmouth before we got on the ferry but didn't need to present it when we arrived in Spain. Hope it goes ok..

Technically yes..... but on the other hand no....  lol

There are 2 options for this form. One if you're flying into Spain, and the other is if you are ferrying into Spain.

There is no option for 'driving' into Spain, and the two options (above) both require details of transportation (flight number or ferry name)....... good luck filling either in without those details!!

Of course, the EU is borderless and so the transition between France and Spain will largely go unnoticed.... there is nowhere and no-one to show your barcode to even if you managed to get one either!!!!

We went to Portugal last year via Santander, with the same dilemma with the Portuguese locator form. We didn't bother to complete one in the end, just the Spanish one which was required at the Portsmouth ferry terminal.

It's all a bit of joke, and I can see the EU following the UK's example once our re-entry forms are dropped in the next couple of weeks... in time for Easter hols apparently :)

I have never travelled that way but by ferry or plane they won't let you board without the locator form! 

I filled mine in on my phone the day before returning, sent on my phone, QR code came straight back to my phone, easy peasy Simples.

Yes that is exactly what everyone understands.

But driving into the country is not the same, and as you yourself say Paulo "I have never travelled that way...";  whereas I have..... and there are no borders to show the locator form, or anyone in the slightest bit interested in seeing it!   lol
