I filled mine in on my phone the day before returning, sent on my phone, QR code came straight back to my phone, easy peasy Simples.

Yes, if you are flying or getting the ferry to Spain. But you can't complete the form if you are driving from UK to France to Spain

Yes that is exactly what everyone understands.

But driving into the country is not the same, and as you yourself say Paulo "I have never travelled that way...";  whereas I have..... and there are no borders to show the locator form, or anyone in the slightest bit interested in seeing it!   lol ...

...

Think you're missing my point here. The point is will they let you board the train without it?

I think you're missing the point....... what train?   Who is boarding a train?  We are talking about DRIVING across the France/Spain border....

Definitely stressful. Hopefully Spain will abandon this form. 🙄🙄🙄

As should the UK in respect of its locator form. Absolutely pointless given the removal of isolation requirements there.

But it's a spainish form so the French authorities are not interested when entering France from the UK.

We are travelling  by euro tunnel.

Again, you're still not getting the point.

In England when you want to travel abroad you have to show the locator form before they let you embark onto the mode of transport you have chosen. I have read on numerous occasions of people being refused due to not having said form.

As I stated initially, I have never travelled this way and it was simply a heads up to the OP.

Can we drop this now it's seriously tedious?

Exactly Paulo....... so why on earth would you possibly think that the French customs would want to see a Spanish location barcode.....

Put your brain in gear...... they have their own entry requirements and are not in the slightest bit interested in the Spanish Government's formalities..... so, as you so politely put it....   FFS!!!
