Hi, we are relocating to Spain from the UK after the summer this year. We have been looking at the requirements and... gulp...it looks very in-depth regarding paperwork, copies of various documents (getting Apostille stamps, translations of docs etc).  We have a fantastic solicitor in Spain, but wanted to know if anyone can recommend a solicitor in the UK, Midlands area, that deals with the UK side of things to make sure we do everything correctly and in the specific time scales. Or, a solicitor in Spain that deals with the UK side of things also (I know this is probably unlikely, but you never know). It looks really difficult, but I am sure taking it one thing at a time, will in the end be ok and worth it. I have searched on the internet and contacted a few solicitors, but the ones that have replied to me don't do this. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :-)

Hi

We successfully completed the NLV process in May 2021.

Although I would say that I am quite confident and competent in completing forms, gathering evidence, etc.; as many forms needed to be completed in Spanish (and mine is very limited) we used a Spanish solicitor (Raquel at BeGlobal Attorneys) to assist in preparing all the paperwork, making the appointments, etc. both in the UK and in Spain - and we would certainly recommend her. Her details are as follows: (If you do contact her, please say that you were referred by Richard Tasker)

Raquel Moreno

Manager, Senior Immigration Lawyer|BeGlobal Attorneys

Tel.: +34 93 566 87 76    |    Movil: +34 674 07 21 89

Balmes 201, 08006 Barcelona www.beglobalbcn.com

Hope this helps!

Hi, thank you for the info.  We are the same, quite good at paperwork, etc etc, but when it comes to something like this we need to get it 110%  If we do go with BeGlobal I will let them know it was on your recommendation.  :-)

Hi Liz,

I used Lucia Lagunas Reyes <[email protected]> she has been absolutely brilliant. Sorted both UK and Spanish ends of the procedure and I collect my TIE this Friday in Molina.

I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Maybe see you around Fortuna.

Take care and stay safe.

Steve
