In the early 2000s a ship was beached at La Azahia, it was stranded on the beach for 2-3 years, what happened to it?

I bet it was there one night, then shadowy figures wearing robes and pushing prams and supermarket trolleys crept onto the beach....three hours later there was nothing left!

I am going back to 2003-2005ish, the ship was there 2-3 years and remained intact. The migrants at that time weren’t flocking to Spain mainly into Italy. Some of the Isla Plana/La Azohia crowd must remember and have some knowledge or is everyone a new comer to the area.
Be having a look around for information but not found anything yet.
Interesting though.

I could be wrong but I think that was a boat deliberately beached because it was carrying drugs and was chased

It is fiction, but based upon the Sea Bird that did wash up.
It is hokum of course, but I like Indian films, partly because the women are so attractive and partly because it fascinates me how the actors are chatting away in Hindi or Gujarati or whatever then throw in a couple of sentences in perfect English!
