Hi Karen

No rules against dogs in apartments at La Torre.

Hopefully you are a responsible owner, who wouldn't leave their dog on the outside balcony all day, unlike many here already!

I really can't understand folk who think it's ok to do this, leaving their poor dogs alone and distressed for hours, barking most of the day (and sometimes well into the evening), and making life a misery for their neighbours.

On the assumption you are not one of these selfish types, I'm sure you'll enjoy La Torre. If you need any further info about the resort, let me know.

Hi Gem, thank you for replying. We would never do that how can anyone leave their dogs on the balcony 😠

Is it very quiet in the winter months?

What do the community fees include and how much? I guess it depends on the property is that right?

Hi Karen

Yes, it beggars belief that they want to keep a dog, but leave them alone for 10 - 12 hours. Can't blame the poor things for barking as they are obviously stressed! Unfortunately it is a common thing, not just at La Torre, but Spain in general.

Things are pretty quiet in the winter months, but again, like much of the Costa Blanca. There are a couple of villages fairly close by (Roldan and Balsicas) that have pubs, restaurants, shops, banks, etc., that are open throughout the winter months, so still plenty of things to do.

As for community fees - approx 130/month for an apartment. This covers security, communal area and pool maintenance (all very good services), lifts in apartments, cleaning communal areas in apartment blocks, basic UK channels (free to air) and 30mbs internet. To my mind, very good value for money.

Happy searching.

Hi

Hope you can help if you own an apartment on the resort, do you get any discount on the golf course, also do you know the costs of a round.
