Hi,
I am thinking of taking up tennis again at the tender age of 65.
Is there anyone out there who plays tennis in La Torre and would mind giving me a game or two when I am over in September/October?
Thanks
J

Hi Jim,
If you don't mind a bit of a drive, we have a social tennis session every Friday from 10am to midday at Hacienda del Alamo Golf Resort. The cost is only €2 per session and everyone is welcome, as are all standards.
Best wishes.
Brian
PS. We have a few returners who are getting back into it.

You should try playing padel... the world's fastest growing racket sport. Like short tennis but much better.
Every weekday morning from 10 til 12 there is social play at club padel place in pilar. .. 5 euros... includes coaching on Tuesdays and Thursday's

Square peg - Really interested in joining in. Is this at the sports centre opposite Mercadona in Pilar de la Horadada? We have tried padel and really enjoyed it. Any more info would be appreciated.

There are groups that play at the spirts complex in Torre de la Horadada. Pop down on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday morning and have a chat with those there. I found them friendly!

Jim, Brian, Square Peg & Sal,
My wife and I have just completed on an apartment in Torre de la Horradada and I'd been thinking of getting my tennis 'fix' at the sports centre.
Your thoughts and suggestions have been most useful. We're coming over from Mon 14th - Sun 20th Oct, so I'll definitely try and make time for some tennis and padel :)
Cheers all,
Tony
