Hi Pauline,
Wonderful idea to buy on La Torre. We bought a little over a year ago and are still extremely happy there. Even though you can find some consequences of the pandemic of course.
As an investment, we also bought on other resorts in the neighborhood, like Hacienda Riquelme, Condado del Alhama and Hacienda del Alamo. So if you want, I can tell you more about the different resorts and what you'll find there, or on La Torre. I'd be happy to help.

Super helpful member
You need to spend some time there before you buy if you dont already know the resort….golf resorts are not for everyone and there are others nearer to Los Alcazares and the beaches than La Torre and with more ameniries.

La Torre seems to be over run with wild cats and the city centre is a bit untidy these days

Well, to be honest your reaction surprises me a bit.
There are some wild cats indeed, but not that many as you make it sound. At least, that's my experience and I even LIVE next to the 'cat woman' of La Torre, who's feeding the cats in my street, actually only 20 meters from my garden. So I definitely do not experience it like that.
Talking about the city centre, a lot of changes are happening there now, right at this moment. We had two new bar/restaurants opened there recently, including O'Learys which makes the whole centre much livelier. Also the rest of the (empty) units are all bought now by an investor who's planning to open different kind of stores and enterprises in it, the next months.
So, speaking of resorts where people actually investing in it towards the future, I think La Torre definitely needs a place on that list.

Good to hear about new investment but some of the areas need a good clean around the lake and is there not supposed to be official feeding stations for the cats so they don’t bother neighbours ….there seems to be a few cat ladies who feed them all over the place so there is no avoiding them my child has a real phobia and they even hang around the pool area
