Hi our son is a professional golfer and is looking at spending either a month or 2 months beginning of feb to end of March 2024 to play and practise over the winter in preparation for playing on a uk tour next year. We were wondering what facilities would be open eg shop, restaurants over this period, also the condition if the golf course.

Hacienda Del Alamo, fab course, driving range and academy plus lots of places to rent.?Pm me if you need help with accommodation.
If you're looking specifically at La Torre, then yes the shops & restaurants will be open and, subject to the weather, the course should be in good condition.
However, for that standard of player, I would recommend that you consider El Valle - one of the best courses in the area; and, of course La Manga Real.
You will need a hire car and then that opens up lots of opportunities to play lots of good courses - I'd also recommend Roda Golf Resort and, a little further away, Aguilon Golf.
