Those speeds are good enough for IPTV.

Your laptop & iPad work fine.

So it looks very much like it is something to to with whoever you get your IPTV from.

Who is it ??

Have they got problems ??

Try a Google search to see if they have problems.

Ok, I’ll try that. Thank you.

If you are still having problems contact Rainbow Satellites.

They will probably have some suggestions.

They have been on the go many years.

Looking for recommendations for internet provider please. Ours has been fine till the last few months when our IPTV buffers so much after 9 pm that we can’t watch it. Technician has been out with two new routers so far and still no improvement.

We had LOADS of problems with our IPTV (similar to yours) whilst we had AVATEL as our ISP, they are truly dreadful in every conceivable way! Often the speed tests were fine, but our IPTV provider advised they can throttle a connection to an individual device (as opposed to a whole house connection) and guess what uses the most bandwidth in your house, especially around 9pm!

Whilst the IPTV is now not 100% perfect (95% now probably) I believe that's largely the IPTV, as I don't think you can expect that be perfect for €20 a month for every channel you can think of + catch up!

We are now with FLEXA and they seem pretty good, I'd be happy to recommend. Only advice was we were offered an extra router (as we have a large house), which I declined as I thought it would just cost more, but the signal is a little weak in our living room, I wish I'd put my hand in my pocket and not been a tightwad!

Hope this helps, good luck, I know how frustrating the problem is!

Thanks so much for your reply. I haven’t heard of FLEXA where we live but I’ll look into it.

Our connection was great at first but this year it has gone from bad to worse.

Today I’d finally had enough of complaining , so after two phone calls to the office  and hearing nothing back I rang a local shop which I discovered uses and promotes the same company. Being a small village where everyone knows everyone in no time I got a call from the technician and he was here within half an hour.

So we now have a bigger antenna and a new connector. About to switch on the tv and see how it goes.

Thanks I think we’ll need it! The fight goes on. Same old problem last night, but just between 9 and 10 , whereas the night before it was pretty much the whole evening.

A good reliable internet is the only thing I miss about the UK and I’m missing it more and more.

Have you tried changing channels on your router ??

Simple enough to do.

Funnily enough I’ve just been reading about that possibility but I didn’t think it was easy. I’ll look into it. Thanks.
