I am in this position.

Have bought house

Have padron

Have applied for residency

Have s1

Not registered at any medical centre as need residency first

How do I get vaccinated

My pharmacist told me that if you bring the deeds of your house along with any paperwork, including your EHIC card if it's in date, to the clinic they will accept that & register you for the vaccine. Has to be worth a try but it sounds bit like pot luck to me. Good luck with it.

We went to clinic in Sucina today with private health insurance card, residency card, padron, passport and we were shouted and told to leave as they know nothing about vaccination and they do not do any vaccination.

Is that a MurciaSalud facility?

Yes, it is Murcia Salud Facility. The person in reception was very rude, refused to look at my mother's documents (she is 75) and told us they are not going to register her for Covid vaccination.

Was the conversation in English or Spanish?

The lady was Spanish but knows basic English. We, however, translated what we wanted for her to do in Spanish on a piece of paper (to register for covid vaccination only). She said no, no vaccination, no registration and showed us the exit door. Then I managed to find somebody else there and showed my piece of paper in Spanish to another lady and the answer was No.

Hmm, you did you best. Assuming your mother has Residencia?

It seems that the Los Alcazares Centro de Salud is being much more helpful.

Is there a gestor who can ring Centro de Salud in Sucina,  on your behalf?

All around the world, who you know often works better than what you know.

My mum has residency. We will try to go to private clinic in St Javier tomorrow with my mum's private health insurance, etc., see what they say there about vaccination. I believe they will probably say they have no vaccine as its only allocated to public health centres but worth a try. In the worst case scenario, my mum would have to go back to the country of her origin and get vaccination there. We do not have gestor. Thank you for advice and comments.
