There have been flights from Manchester and London to Murcia airport this week

Oh, that's better then, I'd already booked flight to Alicante, but will make sure to look at return flight.

When I read this post, I  checked the date. No it was not December 28th (Día de los Santos Inocentes) or April 1st (April Fools Day) so I have to assume it was intended as a sarcastic comment.

If not, then it should have been.

A third country residencia visa application is at best is complicated. There is no simple pathway, a detailed application, a high annual income barrier, medical and police checks.

What ever you do, do not believe that a 90 day vida extension is problem solved.

Hi Roberto,

Applying for a visa is easy and does resolve the problem of visiting for over the permitted 90 days.

Millions of people have been (and are still) doing it for, ooooh, the last 40+ years!  We've done it when visiting non-EU countries.   The visa application form requires certain information, you provide it, you get a visa.

If someone feels they would not be suitable or don't wish to apply for visas then they can always holiday for 6 months of year in 2 seperate three months holiday over a year.

Please educate us on the Visa category that allows non-Eu people to stay past 90 days as tourists in Spain

Anne, I am not asking you to type a lot of content.

What you have said is there is an easy way to extend stays in Spain beyond 90 days for non-Eu citizens.

OK, That is of considerable interest to thousands of British second home owners etc. can you please tell us all, the Visa type, perhaps a link, anything?

Think you will find most people did not have a clue about the implications of Brexit. Even those that thought they did have been proved wrong, partly due to lies from the Leave campaigners and Brexiteers.

Please don't assume that 'I'll find most people.........' etc

Hundreds of thousands of UK residents made up their own mind on the Brexit decision and were not necessarily influenced by the lies from politicians. You and the 'Remoaners' have insulted the intelligence of the 'Leavers' ever since the result of the referendum. I don't know if you're a disgruntled resident of Spain or the UK, but it's high time the Brexit decision was put to bed! I am a UK resident with property in Spain and I'm pleased the UK has left that organization in Brussels, even though I recognise there are some things that don't ideally suit me.

Counties evolve. Spain and the UK aren't what they were 20 years ago, irrespective of any referendum. You cannot rely on currency exchange; interest rates or inflation etc staying the same forever when you decide to move to any country. You do your own risk assessment at the time and make a decision.

I'm sure most will agree that politicians lie, it's possibly the only thing they're competent at. They're even daft enough to do it on camera, just look through the archive material during the pandemic for example.

I think the main concern for all of us now is to get through this pandemic and enjoy whatever opportunities come our way......in spite of the confusion and lies from politicians!

For me, the Brexit debate has ended!

Forgive me if I'm wrong but I thought the point of this forum was to exchange information about a range of Spain issues. I hope you receive a more helpful response to your query.

You think Brexit is not an issue for Brits living or wishing to live in Spain?? It's the biggest and most damaging thing to happen to the freedom we have enjoyed here up to Dec 2020. Or maybe I'm exaggerating, or maybe there are some material benefits that I missed. There is no point in asking what these are, as we have seen on this thread. Enjoy the beach, but take your heads out of the sand.

I think people using the term Remoaners is an insult, and there seems little point in trying to get them to admit Brexit has been a huge mistake. Yes it's done, life goes on.
