You could very possibly get an invoice for the import duty at a later date.

My husband's Windows 10 order cost £99 and he also paid import tax of £21, at the time of ordering - but no additional surprise charges on delivery. So it seems that Amazon will show what the import charges will be, before you place your order. I've just had a new battery for my Vax vacuum cleaner "delivered" from the Amazon.co.uk today and the import fees were already added to the final cost too. £15.33 import tax on an order of £66.66. When I say "delivered", I mean that the delivery person just threw the package over the garden wall and we found it later on! Luckily it wasn't something fragile.... oh wait.....

Hi but do you know how much the duty will be? Will the courier charge extra for payments they made for you.?

The duty was about what I expected, but the laptop was considerably cheaper than if bought in the UK. With the duty, it worked out less than a UK purchase. The courier was Fedex and they only charged me the duty, no admin fees.

Forgive me, but a laptop @ 99 Euros is out of my price range - well out of it below my starting point!

I may have found a way to get an HP, and Dell are supposed to be coming back to me shortly - I will update if I get a breakthrough!

The Op was for a new laptop that is why I asked the question.

I am now wondering why pay £99 plus £21 for windows 10 o amazon uk when you can buy on amazon es for 69 euro?

Windows 10 Home includes Spanish, as well as English, German, Italian, and others.

There are lots of new laptops for sale with no operating system - El Corte Ingles and others sell them - but then you have to add drivers for the hard disk and so on. They of course are Spanish keyboard only!

A lot of amazon.es offers are "renewed" even if you set the filter to only show new. I do not want a secondhand computer.

Because he didn't want it in Spanish.
