Make you you add on the travel against FCO cover before checkout.

An annual policy for a 64 & 61 year old in good health about £75 ish.

The short answer is go for it! and get over there.

We can’t keep waiting for assumptions!

Spain is a large area I would have concerns if I was going to a major city ie Madrid, Barcelona etc but definot Los Alcazares area.

My wife has just returned after a week of fabulous weather. Main reason was to check our property that we haven’t been to since January, we usually visit 6 times a year!

It is a lot safer in Los Alcazares, and very quiet, abide by the rules and respect other people and you will be fine,

The locals/businesses need our support.

Aircraft only a third full.

I will be going over in mid November, it will probably be the last chance to get some fantastic weather.

Don’t put your life on hold any longer.

I think you are right on point. We are going to go. We are entitled to visit our property and we are paying due taxes both at home and in Spain. Thank you for your advice.

Even in the previous lockdown if you were caught in Spain you were allowed to travel back to your country of residence.
