I have heard off a reliable source that pensioners get 50% discount, application at the town hall showing proof etc

The Ayuntamiento states

El importe estimado de esta Tasa, no excede en su conjunto del coste previsible de este servicio, para cuya determinación se han tenido en cuenta el informe técnico-económico a que se refiere el Art. 25 del RDL 2/2004. La cuota por concesión de licencia de vado se fija en 30,81euros.“

It may be paid between 5/8 and 5/10, so will come out soon via DD. Not sure if price is right, but last year we paid €30,05 which is so little that I certainly would not bother filling in all my personal details of your income, tax returns and so on to get it cheaper.

Doesn’t seem much but still represents 50% saving, in these time every little bit helps!
