My husband and I are coming to Mar Menor early September until end of November and we are having problems hiring a car. Most of the large firms are saying they don’t hire out long term holidays. Can anyone advise us who to contact (who is reasonable). We are flying to Alicante on September 7th so could pick up somewhere on way to Mar Menor

Generally, car hire companies will not rent cars for more than 28 days, and, even when they do, you need to take the car back at the 28 day point for it to be checked over.
So, you will probably need to take out 3 consecutive hires - however, that may help you with the cost, as you'll benefit with the likely lower rates pre October half term and in November.
