What is the life of waterproofing a terrace

Hi all early 2003 I had my terrace waterproofed and tiled, I inherited a leaky terrace 😠now there are new owners and are saying that my terrace is leaking and want the name of my insurance, I don't have insurance, I have asked on several occasions to see the damage but they won't let me, last year in June I made arrangements to meet them at the apartment but they didn't turn up, now they have had the President send me an email demanding I waterproof my terrace and to give them the name of my insurance. Last year I re grouted the terrace and sealed all around the edge with mastic. But I would like to know if anyone has any idea how long the waterproof should last ?
