I am on the understanding that you’re not allowed the 183 days in one go over a 12 month period, I am on the understanding that the maximum length of time in one hit is 90 days, then returning again after 90 days, if you want to stay longer than 90 days you are legally obliged to register for residency. I am on the understanding that this has always been the rules, but being E.U citizens you were not clocked in or out of any European country and may have got away with it, but as from 1st January 2021 your passport will be clocked in and out and if you have overstayed you could be fined or even refused entry at another time. Please remember that from the 2021 as soon as you arrive on E.U soil the clock starts ticking.

Can you explain what the extended holiday permit means. Is time period etc Bit green at moment about different options.
