We have had a problem with squatters in my mum’s house in Puerto de Mazarron. The police got rid of them after a few weeks but they’re now trying to get back in. We’ve changed the locks but this doesn’t seem to be much of a deterrent. Can anyone recommend a security company in the area please?  We are stuck in the U.K. and are feeling absolutely helpless.
Any advice greatly app

We've been looking at alarm systems very recently.

Securitas Direct will install an alarm system, with cameras and remote monitoring for approx. €399 and then a €40 per month fee. If anyone broke in, the alarm would sound, the cameras will record what they 'see' and Securitas will call you and the Police. They also provide deterrent signage and I think the system has a panic alarm too.

It's a lot of money, but probably more cost-effective than paying a 'ransom' fee for the squatters to leave; or the required legal fees...

Hope this helps!

We have just had Securitas Direct install an alarm system this week.

With it being new we accidentally set it off.... immediate response from "control" who sorted us out, in English too! Thoroughly recommend them.

Same here. My husband lifted up the control panel and accidentally pressed the SOS button. At least we know it works😎
