Hi,
I wonder if there is a rescue centre that permits fostering of dogs. II would like to Foster an older dog with a view to adopting it if I prove capable of taking care of it. I have posted before which may confuse peoI ple but I've had problems getting back into the forum due to password memory!! So my apologies if there is confusion

Hi, there are numerous dog rescue shelters, dog charities across Spain. I’m sure would be more that happy to assist you in fostering a dog with a view to adoption, if the home check etc went well, of course 😊 If you google rescue shelters around San Javier, there are quite a few, close to you. We have FMA & Noah’s Arc, amongst others where I live. All the best, I’m sure they would welcome you with open arms. The rescues are always looking out for volunteer’s to walk the dog’s too 🐶😎

Los infernos pererra supporters rescue shelter is just a couple of junctions up the RM 19 from San Javier ..Great people ..volunteers ..fostering and adoption..Google them

We have a rescue dog for a few months now, from ALBERGUE de ANIMALES in Torre Pacheco at Lugar la Condesa 139. .
They have lots of dogs, dog walkers etc and you can foster etc. A wonderful crowd of helpers.
Thoroughly recommend a visit

I adopted a German Shepherd Dog, which had been abandoned and was in the perrera at Mazarron, via Friends of Mazarron Animals. They are always looking for people to foster or adopt and I would say it's a very worthwhile and rewarding thing to do.
Unfortunately, there are always a large number of dogs of all different breeds and ages, that have been abandoned, looking to be fostered or adopted.

We have a few OAP’s that would appreciate a foster home, if you’re interested? Check us out on FB: Support Abandoned Dogs/PAPS in Spain. We have a small shelter just outside El Mirador and are often looking for foster careers.
