No Househunter but good luck!  it's times like this when you find out just how good your neighbours are, as recent coments on here would suggest some wouldn't dream of offering to run you up to the airport instead of getting a taxi.  God forbid they won't be in need one day.  You know who you all are.

It looks like at this time it has to be a taxi. (Try to pre-book one from your "village").

I read in Murcia Today that the busses are NOT running, becauce of the unreliable flights arrival....

It might be something to do with the police ... looking out for illegal Taxi drivers with no Taxi insurance in place.. apparently they confiscated your vehicle and you don't get it back...so I have read ... maybe it's safer for you to pay for a proper Taxi service.

A lot of people on here confuse an illegal taxi service with a neighbour giving his pal or family member a lift to or from a destination. It happens every day, every where in the world and I don't think the Police are that naive or stupid, they have the intelligence to know who is picking up friends and family. I fully understand some people within a comunity are unhelpful.  Me, I'd always offer assistance. Hope you're sorted now Househunter?
