Hi guys. Wanted to ask do I need my solicitor to have power of attorney to set up my direct debits and Impuesto sobre Bienes Inmuebles, or can I do it myself with online banking.  I am thinking of removing the power of attorney from my solicitor unless you think I may need them to have it as I am not a resident on Spain.

It's probably easier to get your solicitor to set up your direct debits for everything. You could do it all online yourself if you wanted.

You may as well keep your power of attorney you never know when you might need it.

If you ever do it will not be quick to setup again.
