Try Green Solar. I know that they do have a lot of people enquiring about the installation of solar panels but they did ours really quickly and we're very happy with the results and their personal service.

We had our panels supplied & installed by Iberdrola.

I think you could probably get cheaper, but they provided an analysis (based on our consumption) of how many kW we would need, orientation of panels, calculation of the forecast return (self-consumption, plus selling excess back to the grid) - giving a 6.5 year return on investment. They completed all the applications to the council, etc. and then moved our tariff to their 'Solar Plan'.

We have reduced our consumption costs by approx. €50 per month, which is on track for the RoI.

They were also installed with provision for extra panels if we ever want to increase our generation (for a pool heater, if we got an electric vehicle as our next car, etc.).

Hope this helps!

We applied to Iberdrola twice and even visited their office.....absolutely useless...avoid like the plague. Applied to Ikea and they made an appointment, but never appeared. We actually then got 3 quotes which were all  similar and chose Luna, which also happens to be local to us. WE are satisfied with them and their work.

I had an entirely positive experience with Iberdrola, so I wouldn't suggest you 'avoid like the plague'...
