As far as I know you will have to go back to the UK for your second vaccination.

Please go back to the UK. There are people here over 70 who still have not received their first jab.

I wouldn’t have thought you can be entitled to use both health care systems at the same time!

It is possible Sharmaine as our neighbour who had an Astra Zeneca vaccine in the UK has just had a Pfizer jab last week. It took a lot of persistence but she got there in the end. This is was in Abanilla though not Sucina.

How did your friend do it to get the Pfizer? I'm a resident here had to go back an emergency but couldn't wait for the second. I have got an appointment for the second but if I can get it here that would be great. Thank you for answering my message.

I had my first dose of Moderna in US. Because of an emergency I had to travel to Germany. Once in Spain I researched, wrote to [email protected] & explained my situation. Then called 900121212 also explained. 2 wks ago, I was called to go the next day to a different city who had Moderna. Paid an expensive taxi, was worth it. I received my second dose. Keep trying. Never ever give up. I am 70.

BTW also go to local centro de salud(Health Center) & explain. One of them will call you after registered.

First of all she registered online and then she went to the medical centre and eventually got them to agree to give her the vaccine.

There is no reason why you can't have your second covid-19 jab of a different type. A UK government spokesperson said it was non preferred but acceptable option. My mother in law has had both her jabs in Murcia as part of the mass vaccination at the football stadium. Just turn up there with your ID card/NIE and bobs your uncle! Don't need to be registered on the health system.
