There are a few flies here on Camposol and of course mozzies....but this is Spain .... it's hot ! There will always be flies and mozzies so we'll have to put up with them and enjoy the sunshine :-) ....you can always get the Avon skin so soft to ward off the mozzies .

Probably because the flies gave more interesting things to concentrate on!

Camposol has its share of flies, shatters and aerosols poised for action. Mosquitos not so many probably because they need water to breed in.

Sorry Ginger but as one of the Camposol Avon ladies I have to say that a lot of my customers buy skin so soft because of the mozzies .

I find if a person gets bit it is instantly by a mozzie, this is not always the case. Yes there are a few nozzles, but more flies and ants. If it is the lower k3gs, ankles and feet, it us more likely t9 be ants. Bites spread out, 3mitting a watery fluid it us mosques, others are flies.

Yes Camposol has it’s fair share of flies as does the Puerto de Mazarron. Flies are part of hot weather, look at people in Africa with flies crawling on them.

More importantly is there anything can be done to discourage them?

i read somewhere that u can buy  the pesticide that the farmers use , spray your walls etc, it has an effect , maybe should look into this ,scour the net, someone is bound to sell it,

as for mossies in camposol , its hol homes with stagnant pool water that seems  to be the prob

Here they come! Swatted 10 so far today and counting. Familiar smell of dung wafting around Sucina. BRACE YOURSELVES!

Swatted only 10, I can go into the conservatory and swat 20 within a couple of minutes, you are lucky. I agree they do come in waves, this time of year us when fields are sprayed with pig s..t and then quickly planted to get the growing season underway.
