moving out to costa calida soon

HI, My name is Rex ,and shortly my wife and I are moving to spain.
we are keen on the area around Murcia and we are looking to rent a place first then to find the town we like the most ,I,am 55
and a qualified electrician with other hands on skills ,plumbing ,building work ,gardening those sort of things.
my wife is a retired civil servant and she has a beauty salon in the midlands.
Our questions are can anybody help with rental properties and work oppurtunities for myself ,i,am only looking for 2-3 days
we intend to come out in mid july to look at areas and properties ,any help or info would be grateful.
