Best Car Hire Company please in Alicante Airport

Don't use Goldcar - they are the worst!

We use RecordGo - very competitive and, so far, good customer service.

Thank you, I will try them. 

I always try and book with a company that are in terminal. 

I know Goldcar get some really bad reports but touch wood I haven’t yet had any problems apart from about a 30/45 minute wait at the desk.

Has anyone used the off airport hire companies? Is it a faff getting the shuttle bus to the compound?

These companies always seem a bit cheaper, any recommendations?

We always book online with doyouspain and use OK cars full/full for fuel. Just booked 15 days and the cost was £95 x hope this helps. These are located off airport too. Never been a problem for Alicante, San Javier or Corvera. Hope this helps. X

I've used OK rental once and no problem. But would advise take out insurance as you can be stung for a small mark on a car if not. 

If you are a regular in Spain there is   annual rental insurance you can take for about £50  from UK website

Hi JoJo is a bit of a faff getting the shuttle bus to and from the terminal? 

I always buy insurance before hand independently from the car hire company Goldcar still try and convince you this is not adequate and try and push their own insurance on you. This is commission for the desk clerks, 

I reckon when everyone gets wise to it we may see the end of cheap car hire, they will just bump up the price or increase the bogus claims I got shafted for a wing mirror 200€ with Hertz the photo they sent me could have been months old. 

Read the small print, but bear in mind it will take three days off your holiday
