Hi

We have finally arrived in Camposol where we are renting for a few months before buying. We have met some lovely people here and have been told about the Monsora villas on C10 & D10. We had a look around the area and found that a lot were neglected and left in a state. What is the situation with these. We have heard many stories about the Mass villas but nothing about the Monsora ones. Did the builder of these go bust too?

Can anyone shed any light?

Can some recommend underbuild contractors please as we would like to convert our underbuild area into an habitable environment?

Prompted by recent posts about dogs and owners in Camposol and other similar communities.  'British living in rural Ireland and a dog family'; huge problem being that a large part (not all) of comunity walk their dogs off the lead, which can cause huge problems to you and your controlled dog on a lead, those owners believing that the rule of 'dog leads' only applies to built up areas, but often just plain ignorance. My rule is; own secure garden or suitable private  'no lead',  elsewhere 'lead and under control and pick up poo'.   Apart from being purely commonsence, recent posts suggest that you may have similar problems over there??  Moving over soon so interested in your feedbacks.

My wife and I are looking at Camposol,

Again, D looks to be slightly better value for money etc.

We are looking at 2 and 3 beds.

Looking for the future to retire but as now somewhere to stay 4 or 5 times a year,

My Mum has said she would like to use it for a month to 6 weeks from time to time.

If she has no car, are there taxis or buses to get to and from the shops etc?

Seen a lot of comments and not sure on distance to shops, bars restaurants etc.

My wife and I are 45, we have 3 kids, 6,10,14. Would they be bored here?

We have also looked closer to the sea in other areas but as always, money is the  issue and we like the community feel of the place.

 We have £25000 to £30,000 savings but with the 30& deposit and taxes etc, it doesn't seem to go far.

Any help or advice or guidance would be gratefully received.

We bought 3 bicycles at Raouls shop in Mazarron Puerto but due to bad service we are looking for another shop for parts etc.
