Transferwise all day, have probably changed up €300k with them in the last few years 99% instant, market rate (the one you see on xe.com) minus a VERY small commission. Never, ever an issue and the service has only got slicker and quicker every time.
Looked into Revoult a while back, fractionally cheaper, but just not worth changing IMO.

hi Dom
thanks for the reply the only thing that bothered me about transferwise was that when i looked at the reviews on trustpilot they werent bad for a nearly a hundred thousand reviews but when i looked at the 4% neg reviews they were not good and put simply thats almost 4 thousand people and i cant afford to lose the money so thats why i stuck with magna not the best rate but have some recoarse if anything goes wrong even one of the post states on here although they had a problem they did get nearly all their money back and possibly the rest ,thats the only reason it is very frightening as you know im still at the stage of fingers crossed i know i could have got a little better return but just wasnt 100% after reading those reviews

No worries Ray.
If you’re anything like me you’ll be changing up smaller amounts over the course of time (I never like to change up too much unless the rate jumps up, I did manage some at 1.19 a while back!)
So give them a try next you wanna top up your euro account with sterling if you fancy, less risk etc.
The only time I’ve ever had a problem is when I have sent money from the wrong account in error, and they just returned it to me. IMO if only 4% don’t like that seems good to me! 😉

Trustpilot is not to be trusted at all.
Out of date, out of touch & full of highly suspicious reveiws.

Remember Ray, people are more likely to complain than to praise?
My neighbour and Pal just sold up and moved back to UK from Ireland yesterday, €185,000 to Sterling transferred in under 1 hour with Transferwise!!
hi yes paid the remainder of my 10% deposit today no problems so all good my next question is and i will post on completion stating what the costs were and list them accordingly but have been told the average costs for the purchase are approx 12% to 13% of the house sale is this correct i have already paid for my notary for POA £200 as stated in previous post and as i wont be able to get over until next year what would be a good amount to leave in a spanish account to cover bills water electric etc
thanks for the help
ray
Up on B the rate quoted in the shop is 1.065 today. Just transferred money to our Spanish bank account using TW and got over 1.09 and money arrived literally in seconds

Hi Ray we used to leave minimum of 500 in each month which was more than enough. As long as your water is turned off so you don't get a massive bill if you have a leak that will be more than enough
