After you have applied for your none lucrative visa and been awarded it , the next application is in 2 years and then another 2 years I am lead to believe, what are the cost for those 2 year intervals , do you have to go through the same procedure again .

I am in year 3 having successfully renewed after year 1 ..you do need to provide bank evidence here of your monthly average spend and yearly statement ...you can do this through your bank app or call into the bank who will print it for you at a cost but not massive .. we used a third party called right move in quesada who do it all for you ..take you to Alicante etc and guide you through it ...its much less tortuous than you doing it unless your spanish is fluent...initially they turned down our two year renewal and they rang them for us and 30 minutes later with a resubmitted application ( and fee ) it was accepted.  Its not a perfect or exact science but I would recommend getting assistance

I got my NLV in May 2021, successfully completed my first renewal in 2022 and am due my final renewal in May this year.

The admin costs are minimal (less than €20) and I was only required to prove my 'means of maintenance' (but remember this is for 2 years) and proof of my private healthcare. There was no request for a police certificate or a medical certificate. I used the same solicitor who I had used for my NLV, as, although I normally feel confident & competent with dealing with bureaucracy, documents, etc. my Spanish isn't great and I feel that these applications are too important to risk making a mistake. This was completed at the Foreigner's Office Police Station in Murcia City.

Hope this helps!
