Looking for a job: Housemaid

I have lived here 10 years and never heard of anyone having or looking for a housemaid.

Spain has a high level of unemployment, so you have to be realistic in your expectations of finding any employment.  Sorry to have to say this but I do believe you need at least one years money behind you to pay for housing, utility bills, transport costs, food etc before considering moving here to cushion you until you do find employment otherwise it could be a very hard life indeed and you could be back home very quickly.

I do wish you well and perhaps you should  consider more than one type of employment and start looking for seasonal bar/restaurant work as well.
