Are you a resident of Spain and do you have the appropriate Spanish driving licence to be able to drive HGV vehicles in Spain? If you are a resident and obtained your residency before Brexit and come under the Withdrawal Agreement rules, then you should be able to obtain employment without any problems. If you became a resident after Brexit, then it is unlikely that your residency includes working in Spain and you would have to apply for a work visa or become self-employed (autónomo) with all that this entails. If you are not a resident nor have a Spanish driving licence, then you would probably need to start from scratch. Ctiziens Advice Bureau Spain's website and Facebook group will have details of how this can be achieved.

In addition to the info that Mags44 has correctly provided, if you are moving from the UK, then you would need a visa, as follows:

1. Working visa - this needs to be applied for in conjunction with your employer - i.e. you can't just get a working visa and then move to Spain and try & get a job. This needs to be renewed every year and, for example, your employer may have to prove why they couldn't employ a native Spaniard instead of you. Note: Unemployment rates in Spain are high and the average salary in Spain is around 2/3rds of the average salary in the UK. You will also really need to be fluent or at least have good conversational Spanish, in addition to having the appropriate categories of Spanish driving licence, etc.

2. Self-employed visa ('autonomo visa'). If you intend to be self-employed or start your own business, then you need this visa. You need a full business plan, evidence of contracts for work already in place; and sufficient 'means of maintenance' for you to live on if the business fails. Again, this needs to be renewed annually.

Hope this helps!
