Hi Gary

Our purchase went through very smoothly, don’t forget you’ll pay 8-10% in fees and taxes on top of the purchase price. The legal process seemed a bit lax and needed chasing a few times.  We are very happy with our villa, there is a lovely community on the urbanisation that we have been welcomed into with plenty of invites to events. Looking online gives you a good idea of what’s available but obviously try before you buy!

Good luck, maybe we’ll see you out here soon.

Good evening

My husband and I have just purchased on Valle De Sol and cannot believe how easy the process was. We had a great agent, Solicitor, Translator and nothing was too much trouble. We offered on a property which was accepted and it took ONLY 3 WEEKS till we got the keys. We did a lot of research and also considered Camapsol but so pleased we chose Calasparra. We are hoping to come over after Christmas and stay in our new home for the first time. We are so excited to meet the lovely people of Calasparra and be part of what we hear, a lovely, warm and welcoming community.

If you would like details of the people we used, please message me for details.

Thank you

Suzanne & Roy

We contacted Lynda Day from 4everspain. She is amazing. She took us to properties we had identified. She negotiated on our behalf and secured the deal. She introduced us to a recommended English speaking Spanish solicitor who also applied for our NIE number and opened bank account and sorted utilities. Lynda is a great starting point. She is on facebook and prefers to be contacted on watsapp.

Good luck and best wishes

Suzanne

Hi everyone having read about the area and seeing some great property online can we have some further advice as we are interested in buying a holiday home which we hope to one day make permanent.

Myself and Julie would love some help in answering the few questions we have.

We have seen some lovely villas on the urbanisations which seem incredibly good value for money.

Like others have said we also have looked at camposol but I’m put off by the build quality and subsidence issues.

Are the villas well built?

Does the area flood in heavy periods of rain as it’s near rivers and mountains run off?

Is there a local football team with a stadium to go and watch a game?

What sort of fees on top of the purchase price would we expect to pay to fully complete?

If we were buying on the private urbanisations what are the community fees like?

How many petrol stations in the town?

Sorry there are a lot of questions and we would love and welcome your help 😊

Many thanks Chris and Julie
