No need to be so patronising. If you shop around food is cheaper in Spain. There are weekly markets and fruit and veg sold at the roadside. Hope that helps.

Great healthy food sold in Spain and much cheaper than a lot of other countries

Consum has very tasty bread, but if you prefer also the mushy, white, plastic bread that most english people like :-) What's wrong with home made cake instead of Industrial with so many harmful additives ?
Supermarkets are cheaper than in Belgium and nowhere in Belgium you can have dinner with drinks for 25 euros for two
