There go's my Dream in 4 year's then i won't be getting 30 grand a year not on my pension,Didi't get that a year when i was working. After buying my place love too have that coming in a year on my own.Look's like i be struggling at home in the uk on my own enjoying cold and rain for my retirement.Well it was a Dream

But having Bulgarian residency as an example would allow you to stay in Spain ?

You would be able to live in Spain subject to the standard limits, but you would be able to apply for Residensia to permit permanent residence.

I'm Born UK, Dad was born in Ireland,

my Irish passport cost the basic cost + cost of document trail,

applied and document sent early November and delivered in December

there is a delay if your parents were not born on the Island of Ireland

Children of Irish born parents have no delay

My father was born in Ireland as was all his family. I just need to find out about applying for an Irish passport now . Thankyou

You need to register on 'The Foreign Births Register'

Hopefully Spain will realise the money it loses from Brits selling up or not being able to move over and will change the rules after a few years. 

At least that's what I'm now hoping for otherwise my dream of moving over won't come true. 

IF I was to buy a caravan would the same money issues still apply?

If either of your parents were born on the island of Ireland, I think you should be able to get a Irish passport with simple documents (Birth Certificates and maybe proof of name change if you birth name has changed.

I did it last year, I was confused by the web site and did originally think I had to register my birth with The Foreign Births Register, but not so.
