 We do have a WhatsApp security group for our area which is private and owners are patrolling and doing roof top watches. If someone reports something suspicious owners are off out with dogs and torches....

Street lights,roads etc and after it was completed the homeowners would form there respected association's and take over maintenance and street lights in there areas, if an area...

... forms a association doesn't that absolve the council from completing the work, I remember a meeting with a councillor a few years ago at mariano, and he claimed as we'd moved in,we accepted the state development???The cost of finishing the development years later is gonna cost significantly more, some of the roads need serious work, so I'm not sure where the money for that is.

We do have 1.9 million that the court awarded Camposol for use on upgrades only, but heard no more to date.

I would think it would make great sense to use that money for lighting for the whole of Camposol, and along wlth the 880 thousand for the roads should give Camposol a great boost , and a great start to things being put right.

Some one had the additional idea of getting the council to add 5 Euros a month to the IBI for a police station and a couple of permenant police officers, I thought that was a brilliant idea, and when you consider the IBI has been reduced, it surely would not be noticed as a additional cost.

If residents want Camposol to be brought up to date, this is the only way to get things done,  its in all our interests.

I don't think we can pay extra for a local police station?? We could organise private security, but that idea was floated and didn't get far.

So what stops us paying extra for a police station and police ? 5 euros on the IBI, should bring in a fortune for the authorities to provide what we need in police.
