I'm pretty sure the police aren't allocated, to wherever pays the most ibi?? It's a nice thought if we had a police presence, but I'm sure it's not something you can buy.

Oh well, just another nail in the coffin of Camposol.

We heard that there were 2 breakins on Camposol, one on A one on D just lately.

Residents to look out for a white van with several occupants driving around. ( we were told )

It was said that even though dogs were in one of the properties, and going mad, the scum still broke in.

Sad they are still at it, and no police around, however the majority of residents did not want a police presence, or a small police station, after it was suggested if around two thousand residents payed about 5 Euros a month for a couple of police officers, and a small police station to be set up.

Hope the new dog park works out well, obviously more important.

I feel for those who had there properties and there lives violated, after dealing with such incidents in the UK in my past , I can understand what damage it does to lives.

But still the scum are at it here.

I feel for the owners having their property broken into but until Camposol residents grow up and leave their ‘I’m alright Jack ‘ mentality behind nothing will ever get done. The majority of occupants are Brits, although this is slowly changing, it is hoped that other nationalities start to outnumber, show common sense and vote to retain a police presence or station, then Brits will have to put hand in pocket instead of flaunting wealth.

Very well said, but it will not happen, its a all over case of ( who cares, it does not concern me ) just like the rubbish dumpers, and can you believe the scum who steal the plants put in by the gardens parties, low lifes, who are happy to wreck all for every one else.

So be it.

The discussion and vote was 2-3 years ago, For a Hirt while a police presence was seen on Camposol but this faded.

It seems to me that buying in Camposol is like buying in, say, the worst parts of Durham, or Middlesborough or Hull etc. The properties are cheap for a reason, and only desperation would lead anyone to buy.

Negative comments such as the previous two do not really help the cause  - and they don't even live here! Life must be riveting in Fuente Alamo and Los Alcazares!

Complete and utter nonsense. Some people like to portray Camposol as some kind of ghetto which is pathetic. There are a lot of beautiful houses on Camposol, there is a wide selection of restaurants & bars, there's shops and medical facilities, residents contributing in all kinds of volunteer work. More of all of that than you find on 90% of Spanish Urbanisations. Building quality of the majority of houses on Camposol is on par with most of the structures that were built in Spain around 15-20 years ago. Burglaries happen all over in Spain where there is a high density of expats. Camposol is not exactly a small place and residents are very vocal about trying a lot to prevent those burglaries. Yes, Camposol has a number of issues but it's not like we're living in the middle of Beirut. Some people have just too much time on their hands and instead of using that time to do something useful for their communities they prefer to spend their time online to rag on a place they don't even know that well and/or where they don't even live.

Camposol is a great place, its just a shame many residents do not support it.

We need to up date what we have, and hopefully the 1.9 million Euros awarded to us will go some way to do this, along with the 880 thousand Euros for the roads.

But it takes all residents to get stuck in and support everything.

When the next election comes up next year every one needs to get out and vote for our councilours to get on the Mazarron council, sitting back does nothing but wreck our chances of getting what we need.

We need voices on the council to squash those voices who want Camposol neglected.

Action is what is needed, sitting back, saying it does not concern me, or ignoring the needs, along with ignoring what all residents need to do, is not good enough, and shames those who want to do nothing,
