My apologies, obviously Tom Finnigan should have run the check on his spelling.

Just out of interest do places like Bolneuvo come under Mazarron? Also How many properties in Camposol?

Bolnuevo and The Mazarron Country Club are in the Mazarron Council area, as is Camposol..

According to this map: http://www.fast2016.org/fastmap/map.html

In Camposol there are these propteries:

792 in Sector A
565 in Sector C
841 in Sector B
1722 in Sector D

A number of them are unoccupied or only occupied part of the year.

I`ve been following the anti entity topic for the last few days. as I`m a home owner on the country club.

I think you need to realise that Mazarron council and the IBI tax payers arent going to bail you out. Sad but true, you yourselves will need to contribute to the up keep of your urbanisation. The country club had numerous left over issues from when the builders went bust. However, all property owners contribute on a monthly basis to improve our urbanisation and gradually we are working down a list according to whatever is the priority. My own property contribution is 46 euros per month. I also pay my IBI tax to the council. As yet, we are still waiting to be taken over by the council, hopefully sometime in the not to distant future.

Time for you all on Camposol to stand on your own two feet and do something positive for yourselves.

Gordy couldn't agree more with you. I've purchased in Camposol this year, it is a great community, have a lot of empathy for what has gone. If we are to move forward, we have to accept our responsibilities and set up the Community of Owners, in time no doubt the roads etc will get done.

The Country Club was at least finished to a reasonable standard.

A great deal has been left undone on Camposol. It also appears that a very large amount of money has gone missing in the past. The Council have never sorted that out.

I would have no issue with paying a reasonable amount for upkeep, but first some issues and ground rules must be sorted.

Dream on Gordy !  Mazarron Council will never take over maintenance from you. Camposol A has been waiting for over 25 years with the same hopes - not going to happen. Why would they when you are paying through the nose with no complaints?  We just want our Urbanization to be given to us in an acceptable state before we start paying into a bottomless pit.

Thank you for your reply. I wasn't trying to be provocative but to merely point out that a community of owners is the only way forward in the long term. Mazarron council tax payers can’t afford to funnel money into an urbanisation where home owners don’t want to help themselves of accept their responsibilities.

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

Couldn't agree more Alex - Mervyn01 has a lot to say about Camposol - most if not all is negative and unwarranted.
