First I would contact the solicitor you used for the purchase and ask why you still have not received your deeds. If they have done nothing to obtain them then they have been negligent and you may be able to take action against them. It just seems strange that you have left it for 2 years, after all you would not buy a house in UK without getting your deeds.

When buying off plan ,we found the Deeds to the land were at the time not available,and would be released in tranches ,by the builder .We had a good solicitor who got ours ,the minute they became available .it cost with conveyancing and registering 4000eu for a small plot of 250m.We were lucky but that's the norm buying off plan ,I believe ,it's also a risk which we were aware of and concerned.We were lucky ,deeds were available for others but for reasons best known to themselves they wernt taken up.Anyone that buys a house that's now built ,would be foolish not to buy without a Escaturas.interestingly do these auction houses come with one ?.Regards taking action against a solicitor in Spain, again I'm not sure ,but I believe there are time limitations involved ,where a solicitor that's registered can have litigation brought against them .Important that word Registered ,some so called Abegardoes are not and can't even be found now .the documents people have are worthless .The laws in Spain are different from the uk ,some positively medieval ,if I was in this position ,it's best you get a solicitor that's registered ,to try and sort this mess out. and as one poster said get over here on the next plane ASAP.I would imagine that the Cra are inundated with this issue.Its a case of pay for finding out or diy .

...een going on in last year ...2 properties in my street have been sold a auction and many more all over Camposol have been sold at auction...the CRA have got a complete list of all the properties that have already gone to auction ...get in touch with the CRA via email or you can pop into. the CRA cabin next to the new community centre on B sector and they will give you the full story...personally if I was you I would be on a airplane today.
