If you want a really good grill installed I had a Spanish guy did a first class job and steel bars snd strong glue locked them in place, then sealed bolt hex and ground it down so cannot be unscrewed from wall, if interested pm for for his number and a good price too,
We had a few companies come down to quote for grills. The company that the insurance company sent down basically just rewelded it and fixed it back into the wall. We are now getting 90€ taken off us as excess as the assessor now says it needs painting so our 90€ is going on painting the old grill. This company gave us the most expensive quote though. We decided to use Erik's which has been recommended by other owners on the forum. Hopefully they will be round tomorrow and fit the new grills into the wall. They are going to take off the decorative grills and put them back on when the inside grills are fitted then secure them better into the walls. So we will be basically double grilled downstairs. Hopefully when these are done and now we have the alarm we can start to not be a prisoner in the house and go out together. Hubby feels violated now someone has been in the house and doesn't feel safe to go out and leave the house so I've been the person going out shopping etc.
