I am not paranoid, I am just speaking from experience of my many years in Spain. it is a case of buyer beware.

If you wish to repeat what I have stated by using Quotation marks please use the correct quotation and not your version, I stated.

 "I am not completely confident of this answer but owning a Spanish registered vehicle would make you libel for the payment of Spanish Tax on this."

and not “but owning a Spanish registered vehicle would make you libel for the payment of Spanish Tax ” there is a difference.

There is no need to be rude in your remarks,

And it should be 'liable' not 'libel'....................

In my business life I always had a secretary as I am dyslectic there for we cannot always be correct as you are.

Non Resident rules for buying Spanish carThis is the heading for the post not a spelling contest, this is often a problem when people believe they are being clever, and make childish comments just to get another mark against their naame.

Eduardo - it was not meant as a dig at you - just a friendly nudge to Roland.

However, there is a world of difference between the two words - as you say, spelling is not everyone's strong point, but it is always useful to clarify what is meant in case it is misinterpreted by the reader.

Unfortunately on this forum, points don't make prizes!

Perhaps if you want to give someone a friendly nudge you should do this in a private message not on an open forum?

I was not saying points make prizes but some people have to comment on nearly every post to make them an upgraded member. from "helpful" to "very helpful" and then wow "Super helpful" the forum is for help and advice not silly snide comments which often happen and people should realize this and report them to Admin. 

You really have had a sense of humour bypass. Your response is everything that is wrong with forums.

Users with a sense of ownership, a bit like people who sat at the bar in a pub because they have been going there for ages.

Enjoy your precious forum.

I will still advise and comment when I see fit, but won't get upset if things go off at a tangent.
