Hope you are enjoying your Easter so far..
Have just started the purchase process on an apartment in Spanish Village have a few questions if that’s ok.
Anything to look out for in the purchase process
Is the resort getting busier as hear mixed things on its occupancy
As owners how do you find the resort, is it kept clean & tidy in a good state of repair
Are there things to do locally any suggestions?

Hi, we’ve owned since 2019 and have absolutely no regrets, the place is definitely getting busier, the Hotel is open now and there are various bars and restaurants in the Spanish Village Leo’s, (Pam’s Kitchen) Manolos, and Fairways and of course the new ice cream parlour. There is also IT Bar at the other end of the resort with various singers and events on throughout the year, and of course the football on… Hope that helps…Feel free to message me if you need any further info.

That’s great to hear. Will be there next week having a nosey around with a property already reserved so here’s hoping all checks out ok with that. What are your thoughts on how the resort is maintained is it to a good standard? Anywhere you can think of that’s worth going? We are staying in Puerto de Mazzaron but will see all the local villages… thanks again for your post - Cheers

We absolutely love Bolnuevo the beach is fabulous, also we like to walk on the front at Los Alcázares. The resort is very well maintained generally speaking, the new owners of the hotel etc are doing ongoing work and there are new plots and villas popping up around the place. Also a lot of the bank owned properties are being sold off so becoming busier as time goes on. It’s never heaving because we have so much space here but there is a fabulous community spirit and some great people here.

It depends on what kind of property you have and size for the community fees. Apartments are less than community villas. Ask the estate agent for a full breakdown. You also have gas and electric fees monthly ( with standing charges) and water and community fees quarterly. Buildings and contents insurance etc.Hope that helps
