Hola,

My wife and I will be moving to Spain permanently if accepted. The hiccup at present is obtaining medical certificate. Our GP in UK won’t issue one and we would appreciate any advice. We are due over the water for 10 days in February and wondered if we can have a certificate from a Spanish doctor ? Any advice would be appreciated. Happy new year to all xx

Hi, we had the same problem. The doctors hadn’t been asked for this before so it was easier for them to say no than register for it.

We were given the name of a Spanish doctor. We had an online zoom consultation with him, and within 10 minutes he’d emailed the certificate. Cost €64 each.
An additional benefit was that as it was issued in Spanish, we didn’t need it Apostilled or translated, so saved as much as the certificate cost!

Hi - we are at the Hacienda Requlme atm,  if your GP won’t issue the health cert, you can pay and get one from  a private health company,  BUPA etc,

cheers

Thanks Frank. You don’t happen to remember the name of the doctor? Happy new year, Cli
