Buses from la mango ferry port to the centre

Last year we got the ferry from Los Alcázares to la manga. When we got to la manga there were no buses and it was a long walk to the centre. Are there any buses running from the ferry port to the shops/bars alinv the strip? If so where is the stop and what times do the run? We are going again in June
