Some questions regarding La Manga
I've just registered here I'm in the process of looking for a place to buy in La Manga but would appreciate some real world knowledge of the local area. I'm looking in and around Km.0 so near Cabo de Palos or start of the strip. I'd appreciate if anyone could help with the following questions:
Schools: There is one close by (IES Las Salinas), my 11year old daughter speaks English, German and Russian but unfortunately no Spanish as of yet. Is there a specific scheme for non-spanish children to integrate and adapt? Is the school education level acceptable? Is there any bullying?
Cost of living: Would there be much difference in monthly costs and annual taxes between say a 500m2 plot with a house and an apartment 90m2 or say a duplex? (All without swimming pool). What are the average all in costs per month including everything (Council taxes, utilities, water, other property taxes...)?
Is there any crime to be concerned about? I plan to be a permanent resident.
The flood in 2019, what were the effects for people living say at sea level very close to Mar Menor ay within 100meters?
