Should I retire in murcia
Good morning
Looking for some advice, thinking about buying a apartment in la torre golf resort. Would like to use it for holidays, also would like to retire there with my wife and myself in the future.

Be sure to understand what retirement in Spain entails.
Look at the non-lucrative visa requirements.

Hi, in terms of holiday homes you will have lots of choice with many resorts including La Torre Golf. There’s also lots to do in the Murcia area although Covid restrictions are in place. Speak to Iain Mitchell at Selling Sunset for the best advice. In terms of La Torre it is a wonderful golf resort with lots of facilities. It has a good community spirit and is a mix of holiday homes and full time residents. A car is required. My apartment has just come up for sale so you can buy mine 🙂

The regional border of Murcia has been closed for much of the last year as have many municipalities. Currently most of the municipalities are open but not Torre Pacheco which includes La Torre. Murcia regional health have been very strict relying on the case data for decisions. We also have a Murcia curfew of 10pm and restricted access to bars and restaurants.
