Hi Vic

Long time !!!!   I hope you are settled into Spanish life, we have had so many things happen over the last year, I had a bad car accident luckily no physical damage to anyone, we paid a hefty deposit on a new property and have been fighting to get it back as the builder since sold the p...

...roperty on to someone else !! My partner was diagnosed with cancer and it has take 4 months in the UK to have him operated on but gladly got him back now to finish any treatment here.  We are just going into our year 2/3 renewal I have all the paperwork together and a digital certificate but the system is a bugger to work out.

Then I thought I would just make an appointment and go in person !!!! Nope no idea how to make an appointment now for the renewal so back to stressing over the menial stuff again.

Would be great to meet up in Los Alcazarez or Sucina if you prefer for a vino or a cafe con leche hope you get this message x

Hi Ang

Really lovely to hear from you.  And I thought i had problems!!! My god, you've been through the Mill. In fact you've probably bought the Mill!!

Yes, all settled now (sort of) and spending most of my time here.  I've been over to Berlin for Christmas and New Year and going again this year.  My neighbour (and lady friend) lives there and usually spends about 2 visits of 2 months here but money has stopped her doing coming out for Sept/Oct so i haven't seen her since July.

I am on my NLV renewal but I found a small company that helped me with my Tax return and said they can take care of nearly everything so I let them do the NLV.  They started in June and had till 27th sept. They are useless and my visa has expired. I keep telling them about Medical Insurance, Proof of Income etc. but they insist they know what they are doing. we went to Murcia but got sent away!! They also set up a Digital Certificate but won't let me get access to it  .

It would be great to meet up but it will have to be here in Alcazares please.  I'm still on a UK licence and waiting for the agreement to swap.  Best place to meet would be a place called La Zona.  It's behind Mercadona/Aldi and has a big Car park.  Too British for me but easy to find and we can stroll into town if you want.

I'm back to the UK 24th November but anytime to suit you guys so let me know what's good.

Vic

Hi

I used the same solicitor for my renewal that I had used for my initial NLV application and she completed all the forms and made the appointment for me.

My renewal was approved very quickly, it then took quite a while to get an appointment for my new TIE, but all done now!

Her details are shown below. If you do contact her, please say that she was recommended to you by Richard Tasker.

Hi Rich

Thanks for your advice, as always. Trouble is I need someone to accompany me to Murcia to get all sorted as i don't drive at the moment.  My last visit with my idiot advisor all happened in Spanish around me.  He was told that the rules had changed and we could not apply until after the TIE had expired!!  I have no idea what he was applying for but it didn't involve Medical Insurance, Financial means Etc. despite me telling him it was needed.
